In the next weeks, the Diocesan appointments will be announced, and I will be appointed to a new parish partnership beginning in July. And thankfully, a new parish priest will be appointed to Dundrum, Ballinteer, Meadowbrook/Balally parish partnership. I am away on retreat for most of May, completing the second stage of the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius in St Beunos Spirituality Centre, Wales. Canon Liam, Fr Ebuka and Deacon Gabriel will be looking after the needs of Dundrum Parish while I am away. I will be very sad to be leaving, but I am very grateful that I have had 10 years in Dundrum/Meadowbrook/Ballinteer. I have been at home here and have been blessed to work together in a co-responsible way with priests/deacons and people. Sharing in your joys and sorrows, has been an absolute privilege. We are at an exciting and challenging time in the Archdiocese as we develop new pastoral strategies with the Building Hope process led by Archbishop Farrell. I ask you to remember me in a little prayer over the next month, as I will you. Every blessing, Fr John Bracken co-PP Dundrum Parish - Holy Cross Church Parish Office Tel: 012983494
