​Darkness Into Light Marlay Park 5k walk/run, in aid of Pieta House, will take place at 4.15am on Saturday morning, 11th of May.

Darkness into Light is an annual and significant fundraising event for Pieta House, a charity that focuses on suicide intervention and prevention. Pieta House is a life-saver for thousands of Irish people.
 
The event commences at 4.15am on Saturday morning, May 11th, and based on experiences over the past few years, it is expected not to exceed one-and-a-half hours. Between 2,000 and 3,000 participants are expected and parking is not permitted in any of the estates located along the Grange Road. Volunteers will be on hand to direct parking and entry to Marlay Park.

Since Darkness Into Light began, dedicated supporters have helped raise almost €20 million, which has enabled Pieta House to keep its doors and 24/7 helpline open for people in crisis, free of charge.
